The science is clear: There’s no one “right” way to raise good humans. Yet, today's parents are inundated with information about how to parent perfectly, creating pressure, overwhelm, anxiety and self-doubt. Join Vivvi for a conversation with developmental psychologist Dr. Aliza Pressman, founder of the Raising Good Humans podcast and author of the new book The 5 Principles of Parenting, for a conversation about the pressure to be a perfect parent, and how parents can learn to trust their own instincts and abilities, no matter the sticky parenting situation: tantrums, sibling rivalry, discipline, supporting child autonomy, screen time, building resilience, parent/child communication, and more.

What we'll discuss:

  • Why parents feel so much pressure to parent perfectly, and how to recognize useful versus harmful parenting advice

  • Science and experience-backed strategies to help parents develop a roadmap of how to raise good humans with room to err and repair

  • Creating a parenting plan that aligns with your own values and your children’s unique temperaments
