Join Us!

Children begin forming ideas about race, gender, and identity far earlier than most of us realize—even before they have the words to express them. The good news is that parents and caregivers play the most powerful role in shaping how kids see themselves and others. Join Vivvi’s Jade Francis, Learning & Curriculum Manager and early childhood educator, and anti-racist educator Tabitha St. Bernard-Jacobs for a conversation on how you can nurture a strong sense of identity and belonging from the very start. Together, they’ll share research-backed insights and everyday strategies—like using books, play, and simple conversations—that make it easier to raise confident, empathetic, and inclusive children.

What we'll discuss:

  • What research tells us about when and how kids form ideas about identity
  • How to turn books, play, and media into opportunities for learning
  • Simple ways to model inclusivity and belonging in your everyday routines
