At some point in your parenting journey, you’re likely to encounter something that can’t be solved with just a hug. Whether it's ADHD, asthma, food allergies, feeding issues, learning disabilities, anxiety and depression, developmental delays or something else, there’s a good chance you’ll need to advocate for care for your child for something during their formative years.
Join us as we talk to Dr. Kelly Fradin, pediatrician, mother of two, and author of “Advanced Parenting: Advice for Helping Kids Through Diagnoses, Differences, and Mental Health Challenges,” alongside a panel of experts including clinical psychologists Dr. Rebecca Schrag Hershberg and Dr. Venus Mahmoodi, about how to advocate for your child and get the help and support you need as you navigate your new reality.
What we'll discuss:
- How to identify when there's an issue and when to call in the experts
- Getting all your child’s caregivers to work as a team
- Ensuring your voice is heard, even when you feel marginalized
